Position Overview:
The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent to oversee construction projects and ensure that they are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Superintendent in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects- Supervise and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timeline and budget- Monitor and enforce safety regulations and OSHA standards on the job site- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential safety hazards- Communicate with project team, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve any issues or delays- Keep detailed records of project progress, daily reports, and any incidents that occur on the job site- Assist with hiring, training, and managing construction workers and subcontractors- Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop and implement strategies for improving
