SEC Audit Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SEC Audit Manager to lead our auditing team and oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with SEC regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the audit process and SEC reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning and execution of audits for SEC registrants, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Review and prepare financial statements and disclosures in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
Manage and mentor a team of audit professionals, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
Coordinate with external auditors and assist in addressing any issues that arise during the audit.
Stay current with changes in SEC rules and regulations, and communicate relevant updates to the team and clients.
Develop and implement audit strategies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
Minimum of 5-8+ years of experience in public accounting or internal audit, with a focus on SEC reporting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and audit methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
