Construction Project Coordinator
Position Overview
We are seeking a Construction Coordinator to join our expanding Transportation team. This crucial role involves overseeing administrative tasks, ensuring strict compliance with deadlines and budgets, and maintaining the standards set in contractual agreements to guarantee the successful completion of construction projects. This is an onsite position based at the client's office in Sanford, FL.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate construction projects and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Manage communication between contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules and reports
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Facilitate the procurement of materials and equipment
- Support project management activities, including planning and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction coordination or assisting in project management
- Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies
- Familiarity with Intelligent Transportation Systems is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
