Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee and enhance our electrical systems within the paper and pulp manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards while improving the efficiency and reliability of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement electrical systems for paper and pulp manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC and NFPA standards in all electrical projects.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to maintain safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve power distribution and process controls.
  • Oversee electrical maintenance and troubleshooting activities to minimize downtime.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets for electrical engineering projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering within the manufacturing industry, preferably in paper and pulp.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards (70, 70E, 70B and so on.
  • Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Hot Work, Arc Flash etc safety procedures.
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems and power distribution.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design.
  • Knowledge of process controls and project management is a plus.
