Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to ensure that all machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely. This position is critical to maintaining production schedules and ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and machinery.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and follow up on necessary repairs.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory of parts.
Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in maintenance or relevant field preferred.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
