Operations Manager - Environmental Abatement
Position Overview
The Operations Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of environmental abatement projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while delivering high-quality restoration and reconstruction services. This role involves coordinating with teams, managing resources, and maintaining client relationships to achieve project goals effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and support a high-performing team including implementing policies, strategies, and workflows for success.
- Monitor performance indicators and drive corrective action.
- Ensure quality, timely, and cost-effective services.
- Manage cross-functional teams and project execution.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to hazardous materials and environmental safety.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to meet objectives and client expectations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout all phases of the project.
- Lead training sessions for staff on safety management and compliance practices related to environmental abatement.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to project progress, safety compliance, and environmental impact assessments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in the environmental abatement or restoration industry.
- Strong knowledge of asbestos, hazardous materials handling, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
- Project Management certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety management practices and compliance standards in the environmental sector.
- Ability to conduct thorough site assessments and environmental impact assessments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.
