Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Orange, CA
Salary: $100,000 to $150,000
We are a small sized Builder / General Contractor with an excellent reputation and a variety of services offered.
We are expanding and have openings for Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with Design Build experience for a variety of CA projects.
We're looking for a Project Manager who will oversee all facets of projects including the physical construction, schedule, required reports and financial aspects and interact with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and owners.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects as required by permits, codes, and established construction standards
- Prepare budgets at appropriate milestones and intervals
- Develop, maintain, and manage the project schedule
- Work with project staff to have a cohesive effective team
- Oversee planning, scheduling, cost control, general supervision and client and labor relations
- Develop and tailor project-specific responsibilities for the project team
- Define the project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the entire execution of the job
- Coordinate and direct the estimating, purchasing, engineering, accounting, and construction functions as they relate to the project
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field - a Plus!
-3-15+ years of experience in project management, Tilt Up construction and Tenant Improvement experience -a Plus!
-Proven expertise in budgeting, contract negotiation, team leadership, cost control, procurement, and estimating
-Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing high-performing teams
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills
-Proficient in project management software and tools
-Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to project excellence
