Data Center Solution Architect

Position Overview
The Data Center Design Engineer is responsible for working alongside the executive and project management team to deliver for our clients. The role involves the design and engineering of greenpasture, rip and replace, and upgrading existing data center infrastructure. We need someone who can read/create/edit AutoCAD drawings and has deep understanding of cabling design.

Key Responsibilities

Design layer 1 fiber/copper cable infrastructure.
Oversee cabling and power requirements for data center installations.
Conduct assessments of existing data center infrastructure and recommend improvements.
Develop architectural diagrams and documentation for data center designs.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful deployment of data center solutions.
Oversee cabling and power requirements for data center installations.
Design and implement fiber infrastructure to support data center operations.
Provide support and troubleshooting for data center issues as they arise.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to data center solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data center design and architecture.
Proficient in AutoCAD for designing data center layouts.
Strong knowledge of fiber/copper cabling standards.
Experience with power management in data center environments.
Excellent documentation skills for creating architectural designs and reports.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
