We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of tax-related tasks, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing expert tax planning and advisory services to our clients. The Tax Senior will play a crucial role in enhancing our firm's reputation for excellence in tax services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals and corporations.
- Conduct tax planning and strategy sessions to minimize tax liabilities for clients.
- Perform tax research and analysis to provide guidance on IRS regulations and compliance matters.
- Assist in audit support by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Utilize tax software to streamline processes and enhance report accuracy.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure financial reporting aligns with tax obligations.
- Manage client relationships by providing exceptional service and timely communication regarding tax matters.
- Identify and mitigate potential tax risks for clients through effective risk management strategies.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax services.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in tax software and technology used for tax preparation and planning.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interaction and teamwork.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
